Tom came to Northwestern Mutual with over 17 years of management experience in the automotive industry. In his dual role at Northwestern Mutual as both a District Director, as well as a Financial Advisor, he is able to combine his love of leading & working with a team, with his passion for inspiring financial security through his work with his clients.

He has been continually awarded within the company for the success of his financial planning business and his leadership. For three consecutive years (2021 – 2023), he was recognized by Northwestern Mutual as the #1 District Director in the entire company based on internship production. His successes speak to the high level of integrity and passion he brings to his work with his clients, as well as his ability to inspire and encourage other Financial Representatives to reach their potential.

Tom is a graduate of LaSalle Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College. A native of the Capital District, Tom currently resides in his hometown of Troy, NY with his wife Rory. Tom happily spends his time with his three children, Jack, Grace & William. He also enjoys golfing and is President of the Country Club of Troy.

Ryan is a career changer who joined Northwestern Mutual in 2019, after three years of management experience in the automotive industry. While helping his clients create their amazing future, Ryan also serves in leadership as a Growth and Development Director (GDD), offering mentorship and guidance to new financial representatives as they grow in their career. In addition to that, Ryan has coached and inspired financial representative interns as College Unit Director (CUD).

Ryan is a graduate of Plattsburgh State University where he played four years of hockey. He has been an avid hockey player since he was four years old. To this day, Ryan credits much of the success in his life from the lessons learned one the ice: teamwork, communication, and leadership.

He and his wife currently reside in Brunswick, NY with their daughter Nellie and dog Hank. They enjoy spending time with family and staying active on the ice rink and golf course.

Jessica joined Northwestern Mutual in December of 2018 and has been in her current role as Investment Operations Manager since January 2022. Jess completed her bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at Oneonta. She currently holds her FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, as well as her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License for the State of New York. Jess grew up in the Capital Region and graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. After her four years studying and playing collegiate soccer at SUNY Oneonta, Jess moved back to the area to Saratoga Springs, NY where she currently resides. She enjoys being active outdoors (skiing, golfing, hiking), traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Janelle started as a receptionist for Northwestern Mutual in 2018 and was quickly promoted to the Financial Planning Team, providing all aspects of sales support to financial representatives to ensure their success as they build their business. Janelle has her Life, Accident and Health License along with her Notary Public. Here at NM, Janelle has met and married her husband, along with making many other lifelong relationships.
